* During your initial flights with your instructor, it would not be unusual to find your aircraft flying at an altitude of a few hundred feet. In fact, it will probably happen. It's considered wise to learn early manoeuvres with some air underneath your wings. As the crow flies, our airfield is very close to the large regional airport. We fly with a height restriction of 5oo feet. Sometimes aircraft entering or departing the circuit for that airport fly over our field at less than 500 feet. It doesn't matter what our height restriction is, full size aircraft must always be given right-of-way at all times. * It's rare that dogs enter the airfield, or young children, but when they do, keep a very close eye on your aircraft. A dog's paw through your aircraft's beautiful wing may not leave a smile on your face. * You must never, never turn your transmitter on without first checking to see if anybody else is already flying on the frequency you're using. If you do, they'll likely crash. Always refer to the frequency key-board before touching your transmitter's 'on' switch.
